Unique Radio Control Cars

Today we’ll talk about two unique Remote Control Cars. We’ve seen many RC Cars but most of them are ordinary cars, so in case you’re bored let’s look at these two strange RC Toys.

Block Radio Controll – Block RC Car

As you can guess from the name, it’s made of blocks like ones in LEGO. It can move, it have its own remote control, and you can customize it just like any other block toys!

When stripped bare, this R/C vehicle just looks like a flat LEGO base. Start snapping on some of the 108 included color blocks, and you can build your own unique RC Car. You can always change its look when you get bored. The BlockCar base comes in 3 choice of colors – blue, yellow or red versions – and even has built-in headlights and tail lights (I think this implies it’s an electric RC, battery powered). And if you get really creative, you could join multiple those block radio controlled cars together to make one megaBlockCar!

Stealth Rides RC Car – The World’s First Foldable RC Car

We haven’t seen too many notable Radio Controlled Toy Cars since Takara Tomy’s wall-climbing AeroSpider RC turned our world upside down way back in late 2008.However, Mattel might just have what we always wanted – Stealth Rides Cars! This foldable Remote Control Car is so small, barely the size of a USB flash drive. It morphs just like in Transformers (which is cool!). You can have it for $25 on its debut next August. Mattel also plans to roll out five different RC Models of this pocket-sized trinket, and one of them will be the Batmobile Tumbler.

RC Trucks and Cars

RC car and truck racing has become one of the hottest hobbies in recent history. The remote control cars, trucks, monster rc trucks and other various RC toys can be great fun, but you may need to explore beyond these toys. There are a lot of varieties of RC vehicles: two wheel drive to four wheel drive, onroad or offroad, electric nitro or petrol toys, etc.

If you’re  new to remote control cars and trucks, here is an overview for you. You can jump directly to a RTR (Ready to Run) toys, which means that the toy can be used immediately This can be a great gift for a newbie hobbyist or just a quick introduction to the hobby itself.

Another option is to build your own from scratch. This can be a much more rewarding experience as you put the rc car or rc truck together yourself. Building it on your own is the reason why this hobby is so popular.

Type of the RC Vehicles

Electric RC
These toys are powered by an electric motor. Batteries (preferably rechargeable ones) are used for this kind of toy. Many electric rc vehicles can reach speed of 40 mph or more.

Nitro RC
These toys are nitro fuel powered. It’s easier to fuel nitro gas cars compared to petrol ones. Nitro fuel is a mixture of ethanol, nitro methane, and oil.
Nitro powered rc can reach top speed 70 mph.

Petrol RC
These toys are powered by regular gas, and a bit of oil. You have to mix them yourself, which could be hard. Fortunately it’s rather cheap compared to nitro fuel.

Offroad or Onroad RC

Offroad RC
These toys are specially made to challenge uneven uneven. The outdoor track, the high jumps, and the awesome stunts. Since these toys are made for running on unstable terrains, they’re obviously durable.

Onroad RC
These toys are generally faster than offroad rc. Should be used only on stable, even terrains, as these toys aren’t made for hitting rocks and running through muds. Rather fragile.

Off Road With RC Truck

Today remote control toy trucks are in simple terms – absolute craziness and fun! RC nitro trucks are the best and the most popular type of remote control truck. The engines in RC nitro trucks are super powerful. The advantage of nitro RC trucks over electric RC trucks is that with nitro you just fuel up, but with electric you need to charge it.

The earlier models of Remote control monster trucks are nothing compared to what you see today. When they first started manufacturing RC trucks they looked like a regular RC car but with different customizations (i.e. body and tires). You have to face it; those older RC trucks were meant for smooth ground – not rocks and jumps.

Who wants to stop driving the Radio Controlled Toy truck? Go with a Nitro RC truck, because the run time is far better than electric RC trucks. Don’t forget that remote control nitro trucks have realistic engines, completed with fuel system, carburetor, fuel lines etc. What is the difference between RC car and RC truck?

A lot of the times people can get confused between RC cars and radio control trucks. Just remember that RC cars are usually meant for flat relatively smooth surfaces, whereas monster trucks are made for off road. Here are some differences between RC cars and trucks.

Typically RC cars have a very low ground clearance and monster trucks have a very high ground clearance, this is pretty obvious. Radio control trucks have great suspensions and RC cars have tight suspensions. This allows an RC truck to have a lot more bounce off jumps without breaking the whole truck. Radio controlled toy trucks have way bigger tires then RC cars do. RC Cars are a lot faster than Trucks as they have higher gears which allows for some awesome acceleration. That hobby is RC vehicles (remote control trucks, boats, cars, airplanes, and helicopters.) One of the many different vehicle types you can purchase in model form, are remote control trucks. In the past, the most popular style of RC truck you would see was a stadium style truck. Now the most popular toy truck people buy is modeled after monster trucks.
