A Simple Summary About RC Tanks

Tanks, the ruler of battlefield! They are under your command to attack the enemies! But of course we don’t want any real causalities, we don’t want trouble here!

I’m talking about RC Tanks here.

A radio controlled tank is a toy model of a war vehicle that can be controlled with the help of a radio transmitter. Since they’re modeled after army vehicles, they are armed. No, not armed with explosives, but mostly with plastic pellets, paintballs, or airsoft guns.

For more realistic effects, usually most tanks can produce sound effects such as when firing their cannons and turrets. RC tanks can range in price, so you might want to shop around your budget. The price usually varies from about $55 to $180. However, if you’re talking about a big rc tank which you can ride, the price would be so different.

Like other rc toys, most rc tanks are electric and requires battery to operate. The majority of RC tanks are sold as toys but there are people who build their own tanks and engage in RC combat.
Controlling it might be a little difficult compared to rc cars, because aside from moving it around you may also need to aim a target and shoot it. But I think it won’t be as hard as flying an rc airplane.

Enough said, this video should explain better.

The majority of RC tanks are sold as toys but there is an active segment of RC enthusiasts who build their own RC tanks and engage in RC paintball combat. Also, some of those toys are sold in pairs for that purpose. Most of these toys are electric.

Even the most basic Radio Control tanks frequently feature authentic styling and paint jobs.

Designed specifically for paintball combat, these large-scale RC tanks are usually modeled after actual tanks from armies around the world, and may travel 2-3 mph or faster.

If you’re considering to build an army, you might want to consider RC aircraft such as airplane and helicopters. Just imagine when you have an army, tanks trampling the field and airplanes strike from above with the helicopters! Just be careful not to break your plane.
