Experience – it is recommended you have sufficient experience in operating an electric RC car before you purchase a Nitro Radio Controlled Toy car. If you’re a rookie at RC car usage then you probably wont be able to handle a Nitro RC car. This is why beginners are recommended to first get electric cars before they upgrade to Nitro RC cars. Thus, they can have enough skill to be comfortable with the Nitro Remote Control Cars.

Materials:

ii) Fuel- the fuel required, in this case Nitromethane-castor oil mix, for powering your Nitro RC car, are available in different hobby stores and shops. Gasoline is extremely volatile and usually less volatile fuels are used to power the Nitro RC car.

Nitro or Electric?

The cost between Nitro RCs and Electric RCs is quite significant, Nitro Radio Control Toy cars cost more to purchase than electric models.

Nitro RC cars can only be used outdoors as Nitro fuel is highly flammable and fumes are poisonous, so remember to safely store your Nitro fuel. Nitro RCs are awesome fun and faster than electric models.

You’d be more suited to electric RC toys as no fuel to add and empty after each run plus tuning and more basic care. With electric RCs they have much less noise and can be used indoors, also little after care is required.

4. Maintenance-Every time you run a nitro gas car, you will need to do maintenance afterwards.
5. Power- Nitro gives you just that, and at faster speeds. Gas, not nitro, gives more torque, which lets you turn a bigger drive shaft.
